It would hardly have been possible to design a game like Alexander without exchanging artwork.
In order to communicate our ideas to each other, Paul and I created mockups, screenshots, sample dialogs,
diagrams, piece designs, and countless maps. I even created posters and splash screens just for fun.
Shown at top left is my initial design for an Alexander icon. At top right is a spinning globe animation which we considered using as an about box in the continent generator - hit your browser's refresh button to see it spin again. The world shown in both images was based on an actual map generated by our continent generator.
