I will eventually try to produce some maps with colored "countries" - if only for my own perverse curiousity. As you say, we don't have much use for such a thing now, but it's an intriguing idea: what *could* we do with countries?

Are you going to be showing the color maps in some kind of classroom presentation? If so, I would be very curious to hear what kind of response you get (oohs? aws? catcalls? howls of protest? jawdropping? rioting? white-faced terror? profound sadness? raucus laughter?). In a way, this could represent the first public unveiling of "Alexander technology" if I may use such a term.
