While packing boxes last night, I ran across an old textbook called
"Computer Graphics." I think I bought this through a computer book club
I belonged to briefly around ten years ago. Any way, it has nice
discussions on bezier curves and fractals. From the look of several
graphics they show, it appears that we really want to be using fractals
to generate our worlds. There's not enough detail in this book for me to
actually start coding, though. After I move, I'll check out the local
book stores to see if I can find anything that explains how to generate
fractal worlds.
