Can we be friends via correspondance? Yes!!!!

Here I go talking about Rick. We met once at a party and we only said a few words to each other. The rest of the courtship was via the mail. When we started writing I decided I was going to be as honest as possible so that if I was rejected it would be soon.

The purpose of my trip to SLC was to see if Rick was the same in person as he was in his letters. He was. I knew that if he was, I would marry him.

I don't think real time is an essential factor and I, as the only female for so long (welcome at last Suzanne) am grateful for the invisibility factor among all you males.

Sorry to be mushy but what I'm saying is we can get to be great friends this way. Sometimes people bring out a side of themselves via writing that doesn't show up in person which is often delightful and interesting. Creating relationships via correspondence depends on variables different from those used in face to face relationships.
