As to what made my relationship with Diane different - I think that it is hard to pin one explanation on that.

Diane was someone with whom I felt very comfortable from the moment we met. From the beginning, there seemed to be no barriers between us in terms of what we say or the topics of conversation that we would address.

Additionally, I never got tired of being with her. In all my other relations, it seemed that eventually (after a few months) I got tired of spending a LOT of time with those people.
