This is a response to Vol 10 Roger 1 ("MacIntosh Programming")...
Thanks for your advice on the Macintosh programming book. I wound up buying the "Inside Macintosh" collection first, then going out looking for something to explain how to use what I'd just bought. I never did see the book you recommended.
What I did find was "Using the Macintosh Toolbox With C" by Huxham, Burnard, and Takatsuka. This also features Think C and is tutorial in nature. I've struggled through the first couple hundred pages, and feel like I at least have a sense of what Mac programming is all about.
Still, I dread my first "real" programming experience on the Mac.
