As she reveals in her opening message, Drury is a veterinarian. In fact, she is a veterinarian's veterinarian, someone other veterinarians call when they are stumped. She is also one of my oldest and dearest friends.

Her icon, as you will have noted by now, is what I would describe as a raven (and Drury will tell you that the raven is a very intelligent bird). Actually, Drury has all sorts of bird stories as I hope we will all discover in the years ahead. She acquired a Mac Plus just before Christmas and is already writing her own HyperCard stacks.
