I hurt my back this last weekend! Is it true!? Can it be a sign of age? I was assuming it was some bizarre punishment from my health club for not working out these past months.

I spent one day reviewing with my housemate all the possible complications and implications of back troubles (from tumors to discs to paralysis to surgery to traction for weeks to the possibility of celibacy).

The next day, I was up and around. It is still painful, but not immobilizing.
