But lettuce makes for a wonderful way to serve food. Most dishes, especially lemon chicken, are much better when served on leaves of lettuce. It makes the food seem much fresher, and, at least for me, appearance adds greatly to the taste of food.

As an added benefit, you can munch on the lettuce leaves (they still retain some of the flavor of the food) once you finish your meal - this is even better than parsley!
