The baby has been dominating most of our lives these days (when work, sleep, and eating don't). The baby's room is coming along - we have now got a crib, changing table, two portable crib/playpens, a stroller, and a huge stuffed lamb (not the edible kind) in the room. We have even selected a theme for the room - koala bears. Koala bears and lambs make for a nice Australian/New Zealand feeling - way down under.

Diane and I are both coming off some holiday ailments. Being in public education, Diane has about 2 weeks of over the Christmas holidays. She came down with a cold/flu the very first day of her vacation and it didn't let up until after vacation had ended. As for me, I've had a recurring flu along with other back and knee problems associated with playing basketball and engaging in other forms of exercise.

But we both feel pretty good now and are ready to get back in the swing.
