I'm writing to you good folks on Easter Sunday. Hope everyone is well, including our newest little Archipelagoan, Larry's child. (Larry, I don't remember the names you were considering, but I do remember John's suggestion, Napoleon Solo - you didn't adopt that moniker for the baby, did you?).
Things are well here in Ohio. I have the spring quarter off from teaching to devote myself to what's officially called a "Special Research Assignment" here at OSU. For me it basically means some extra and welcome time to devote to writing.
Kathy and I are going to a convention in a few days in Miami, but before that I'm getting set to do Midwestern homeowner things like putting pre-emergent on my lawn (alas, I must be getting older).
But the spring is crisp and beautiful, and life is sweet. Hoping the same for all of you.
