I just had to comment on this article. This is one of the things I hate the most about being Japanese. My parents are prime examples. They are always buying the lastest gagets and items and now that my father hasn't been working as much, money is tight.

I just wish they could learn to be happy without all of the excesses, but who am I to talk - I just purchased a Mac so I could continue with Archipelage and I have no money.
