I was carrying a huge quartz crystal and was told I would have to check it in as it could be used as a weapon! When I inquired as to how it could be used in this manner, the man held it in one hand and made a slow, pounding gesture with it. Eliott and I were almost in hysterics laughing, but we did have to stuff it into one of our carry-on bags and check it in.
