Well, I'm late, about three weeks so with this card.
The first really big snow storm of the season has just hit Ohio. 6 inches or so of snow blanket? cover? quilt? holster? the ground. Just when we thought we could sneek through to spring unmolested.
It's 11:00 at night, just after Clinton's first big speech to congress. Some of the cards I've read in this issue were written before the election. Time is a patter of little hooves sometimes in Archipelagoland; other times it seems like a slow swirling eddy of leaves in a backwater bay of a river turning and flowing ever so slowly. Such is the charm of this enchanted land. And when you read these words, the daffodils will be blooming no doubt. In these happy passage of our days, it's nice to spend some time in Archipelagoland.
Chaio for now, friends.
P.S. Janine, I hope your father is doing well. He has my best wishes and strongest prayers for a recovery.
