I think that's a really great idea to start a book collection for your child. Just in case you're interested, I have a favorite that you might want to look into. It's called "If You Give a Moose a Muffin." It's an imaginative, funny book about the trials through which a moose puts a child. I've given it to every child I know.

Although the children seem to enjoy it too, invariably they're gotten sick of reading it before I have - which, as a parent, could constitute a definite advantage. But anyway, I thought it might be a book for you to consider.
