First, on July 23rd we closed escrow on our new house. New in a number of senses. New for us, and new for anyone - so new that no one has ever lived in it before. We discovered that the best way to sell our old home and buy a new one was to trade our old home in on a new one. And since only new developments will take trade-ins, we bought a brand new house.

The place is on a small hill with a nice view of San Jose, 2400 sq ft (sorry Roger), 10,000+ sq ft lot, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, etc.

We also have an addition to our family. Curtis was born 6 days ago, on August 25th at 2:26 am. More details in another card.

I also have learned that I'm in line for a promotion at work, effective January 1994.

All in all, this has been a very eventful few months.
