I'd say it would be a good idea to aim for five issues of Archipelago per year. Four could be fine too, but if you aimed for four and then ended up with three, that would be a little spare and you wouldn't want so much time to pass between issues that you'd lose a sense of continuity.

Also, I'd like to vote for an annual summer reunion of Archipelagoans on Mount Tam that I think Janine suggested a few issues ago. Not just because Mount Tam is in my general neighborhood but because it is such a beautiful and peaceful place, and likely to promote much inspired discussion and be enjoyed by all. So I hope this hasn't become a dead issue.
