As I write this, Los Lobos ("Just Another Band From East L.A.") blasts on my new Mac's "Apple-Powered Speakers". Apple products are beginning to deliver a glimmer of what computer technology ought to provide. My computer talks to me, sings to me, listens to me, plays movies for me... In a few years, computers may actually be fun to be around.
Meanwhile, Christmas is near, life is good, and my submission is just-past-fashionably-late.
