The Pussycat Who Purred a Poem
There once was a pussycat who purred a poem
About all the pussy willows who purred alone.
The poem made her cry a great big puddle,
Which became a problem -- a pussycat muddle,
For the puddle grew wider in princely proportions;
It passed in size the pathless oceans!
And the moon poured down its pearly light
As the puddle became a sea that night,
When pussycat poured out tears for her poem
About the poor pussy willows purring alone,
About all the pussy willows
purring
alone.
