I hope the property manager is still taking a fee out of the bank account. Anyway, my guess is that the son's life is somehow not in order. Maybe the evil new wife has thrown him into a major depression, maybe it's a drinking problem or he's in jail. Even if he's not a materialistic person, rent on a $200,000 home would be an awful lot of pesos and hard to just forget about.
