TITLE: The Goddess in the Office
AUTHOR: Zsuzsanna Budapest
PUBLISHER: Harper San Francisco
COPYRIGHT: 1993
This little book (5.5 x 6.25, 148 pp) is a great pick-me-up for those of us attempting to deal with the impersonal corporate world. Z offers scents, colors, meditations and spells for every day of the week. Her down-to-earth style is both funny and honest. She is a hereditary witch, and was trained by her mother and grandmother in Hungary. She points out that spells are just rituals which help to focus your unconscious.
I would get all sorts of reactions from people on the bus who noticed what I was reading. I think the best one was the woman sitting next to me on one ride, who kept looking over my shoulder, then repeatedly kissed her bible with pictures of the holy family!!
