I don't know how this came up, exactly, but on our hike back to the cars on Mt. Tam, Roger was talking about marriage. He said sex became less important as a marriage progressed and politics became more important. When questioned, he asserted that these issues had nothing to do with each other. However, if he really didn't consider them related, then why would he mention them together?
I just don't think I can be satisfied that the question of the relationship between sex and politics in marriage has truly been addressed unless Roger provides further exposition.
