This is a response to Vol 6 Larry 1 ("SpreadData Could Be Nice")...
Larry:
Both my copy of SpreadData and the copy on your transit disk seem to open OK (without bombing), but I could never seem to get it to behave properly. You might try playing with it some more, but I'm afraid the thing is a dud.
It does occur to me, however, that I could perform the same function quite EASILY in HyperCard. That is, I could create a one card stack that reads in a text file of numbers and outputs a properly formatted spreadsheet. If I wind up in California I will do this for you; if not, you might describe what kind of manipulations you need to perform and we can hammer out something over the Archipelago network!
