The last few months have been INTERESTING. I use the word as it it used in that most dreadful Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times."
I believe that at long last my ill-fated love affair is drawing to a close. I have been hit over the head with a two-by-four repeatedly day after day, month after month, and the message is finally starting to penetrate my less than infinitely thick skull.
The upshot of all this is that I hope to turn my full attention back to editing this most improbable journal. Despite my recent job hunt in San Francisco (See Vol 7 John 8), it appears I will remain in Canyon Creek for a little while longer.
The big news this time is that Cliff has resigned (See Vol 7 John 5) and Holly is now a married woman (alas, she did NOT spend her honeymoon writing voice cards ). Overall this has been the slowest issue on record, but I hope to liven things up in future issues with a new member and several new projects.
I have enclosed the latest version of HyperCard and a few odd goodies. And as always, the HyperPoetry and Quotations are superb.
I hope to see you all soon, refreshed and invigorated, in volume 8!
