It didn't take the congress too long to quiet down that "firebrand type" Newt Gingrich who was going to root out the corruption of Democratic (only) congressmen. I see that he is lying low for a while. I liked Proxmeyer's "Golden Fleece Award" and hope that others take it up.
The latest Scientific American had a good issue on the ecology.
