I'm getting this to Command Central early, because I'll be out of town around the time that it is due. Diane's birthday is Oct. 29, and we've decided to get away to Vancouver for a little vacation to celebrate the occasion.

Most thoughts in this area are about the recent earthquake. I've included an account of our rather uneventful experience during that time. I'm sure we'll hear more regarding the incident from our other two Bay area residents.
