I am happy we can look at this question with hindsight! I hope we have no further dealings with Saddam. It sounds as if he has his hands full with civil strife.

Now, Kuwait needs major help with the clean-up. I am appalled at the environmental damage (burning oil fields and oil in the gulf). My feeling is the rest of the planet will be adversely affected by this.
