Waiting

Voice Card  -  Volume 27  -  Drury Card Number 1  -  Mon, Jan 4, 1993 5:43 PM

This is a response to VC 26 Paul 2 ("The One-Margarita wait")...

A one-margarita wait is the length of time it takes for a margartia to dull my appetite. It varys from restaurant to restaurant, but more importantly, on my hunger level when reaching the restaurant. Sometimes I just can't wait for the food, especially if I can smell it.

Most of the sleezy joints we frequent serve margaritas (most have Mexican names, too). I can't remember ever trying to eat at an oriental restaurant. Do they serve margaritas? Would we ever have to wait to be seated?
