Thanks for the short story idea. However, I'm seeing this more in terms of a photo essay for you. Kind of like a series of kids reading text from their cones as they eat the ice cream. The text on each cone could be encaptioned beneath the appropriate photograph.

This might be just the kind of thing some ice cream store in Walnut Creek might appreciate, as well as the patrons of the store and ponarvian art lovers everywhere.
