Yes, that DOES help. I thought I had written some earlier voice card on the perils of text-pasting, but perhaps not. Allow me to quote from the clipboard pasting directions in the Pelago Notebook Voice Page Documentation:

"WARNING: Do not copy a page to the clipboard and then proceed to CREATE a new voice card from inside the Voices volume. Whenever you create a new voice card, a card template replaces the contents of the clipboard; if you then give the paste command the template will appear instead of your comments. Use the Create Voice Card command to put a page into a new voice card. The Copy to Clipboard command should be used only to APPEND a page of text to an existing card (or to the text of a word processing file, book review, etc.)."

The same warning applies even if you don't work through the Pelago Notebook. The Mac's clipboard, alas, only holds one item at a time and the process of creating a new voice card overwrites the clipboard. If you create the card first THEN paste in the text, you should have no problem!
