This is ONE OF 3 responses to Vol 13 Drury 11 ("A Sex Fetish?")...
True, it seems like there's been an awful lot of verbage here lately on the topic of sex. Perhaps we ought to begin a dialogue on another biological need, like eating.
For instance, I have a problem with salad. I know I ought to eat more of it, but the problem is I just don't like salad very much, particularly the lettuce. It seems a lot like wet paper to me. Often, I feel like I am chewing some kind of wall covering. I've tried using different dressings and putting different things in the salad - like there's one I make with walnuts and bleu cheese, and that's tolerable - but if I'm not concentrating when I eat, I end up eating the walnuts and bleu cheese and leaving the lettuce.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle such a problem with salad?
