I would believe that you are a frustrated romantic searching for his "true love". You examine the love relationship in quite a different way from our friend John. It appears to me (and ONLY on the writings of your voice cards and other contributions do I base this) that you are waiting for the relationship to grab you. If it is the "true love" you seek, all will be wonderful. If not, well, you did try to tell us that roses have thorns.
