This is a response to Vol 14 Roger 5 ("Think4.0.1")...
As you can see by my "simultaneous" reply last issue, Think C 4.0.1 is now out of date. But the updates I offered are of no value to you anyway, since you're still running 3.0.
Having started with 4.0, I'm not sure of the differences between that version and 3.0, but here are two major features that I *think* you don't have:
- A symbolic debugger
- Object-oriented extensions (similar, but not identical, to C++)
The debugger requires multifinder and at least two megabytes of memory. I don't know what the other features require, but you should be OK with your configuration.
The upgrade from 3.0 to 4.0 is $69, and probably well worth it iff you are doing much programming on your Mac.
