We may not have much choice. We issued the ultimatum - out by the 15th. I do not believe it would be a good move for the United States to not follow through. I would think it is the responsiblity of the United Nations to modify our ultimatum, if the planet is to avoid war.

Someone needs to arbitrate. It seems to me that we are two little kids facing off, and neither can stop without losing face. A third party is needed to give everyone an honorable way to back down.

(But of course, what the heck do I know! I don't even watch TV, read a newspaper or a news magazine!)
