Although your question is now rather a mute point, I am still of the opinion that Saddam Hussein needs to be removed.

Now as to the question about war, I can only hope that this time the generals in charge do not allow the politicians to get involved. If they do, it will not only cost a great deal more lives, but will probably lead to a more unsatisfactory solution to the current problems.
