Thanks, Paul for your comment on the book on Lightspeed C, Using the MacIntosh toolbox with C. It covered much of the material covered in the MacIntosh Programming Primer and in a different way. It helps to work through both of them.

When I went to look for the book, I found that Book II of the Macintosh Programming Primer was out. It continues on where book 1 left off. I looked thru it and it looks as if it is going to be helpful.

I got lightspeed C 4.0 and the object oriended additions to the language look like they will really help in programming.
