Good luck, Yumi! Although it is impossible to foresee the ups and downs that lay ahead of you (and I'm sure they'll be plenty of both), I think you're doing the right thing.

As someone who is in the midst of a very similar transformation, I can assure you that it won't be easy. A hundred obstacles will be flung in your path before you even have a chance to catch your breath. But how else can you ever hope to grow? Better now, I think, while you're still young and resilient, then later, when you're cautious and comfortable.
