Maybe this is why we refer to people with an overabundance of self-confidence as having a big head, or a swelled head (as you described the fish). I think humans tend to show a lot of confidence or lack thereof with their bodies; i.e., posture, body language, etc. Maybe this is an outgrowth of the fish's trait?
