Your review was interesting. Anne Rice fascinates me because I can't put her books down but at the same time I am uncomfortable with them. That is a sign of a good writer. Your review said things I had felt about her writing but hadn't been able to express.

I started reading her when Paul asked if I had read the vampire books. Since I hadn't read them I went out and looked for them. The store I went to only had VAMPIRE LASTAT and so I read that first. The result of reading them out of order is that I am sympathetic to Lastat and I haven't finished INTERVIEW yet.
