This is ONE OF 3 responses to VC 30 Suzanne 4 ("Twenty is too few")...
This is actually a belated response to John's voice card in issue 29.
It's hard to come up with twenty words - like Suzanne, I could come up with all sorts of different lists with their own criteria: sound, definition, spelling, ease in typing...
Here, then, are twenty (plus six, one for each letter) that first came to mind, for no particular reason:
- Albuquerque
- boisterous
- cashmere (also cacophony)
- dollop
- effervescent
- finnial
- gregarious
- heinous
- iffy
- jester
- kayak
- lounge
- Mishawaka (that was for you, Betsy)
- nasty
- octogenarian
- pusillanimous
- quagmire
- rotunda
- sanguine
- tincture
- ubiquitous
- vernacular
- waddle
- xenophobic
- yodel
- zealot (also zany)
