Tomorrow I march in to work in order to be told that after six and a half years of exemplary work, my company no longer requires my services. Playing my company-man role to the last, I'll empty out my desk, return my credit cards, badges, and other paraphernalia, and eventually step out into the real world.

Or will I? The question is, what should I do with my life at age 36? I'm one of those people who never stopped saying, "When I grow up, I'm going to...". But how to fill in that pesky blank?
