OK, OK I get the message. Here's my list of magazine subscriptions:

(at this point I foolishly typed the TAB key, expecting to indent entries on my list. Instead, it highlighted the text above - documented but definitely non-intuitive behavior for HyperCard. Then, compounding my error, I hit the uparrow on my extended keyboard and - voila! - found myself staring at the seagull screen with the HyperCard hand for a pointing device. Definitely disruptive, but if you want to call it an undocumented feature I'll shut up and try again...)
